“Connecting the Dots: Weaving Human Rights into Curriculum”
11/8/2004 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

As teachers, we are asked to provide a quality learning environment for students who come from very diverse backgrounds.  Our students come from different cultural, economic, racial, and linguistic backgrounds, and it can be a challenge to bring such diverse groups together.  The Minnesota Global, Peace, and Human Rights Education Network has created two courses, Introduction to Global, Peace, and Human Rights Education, and the Advanced Topic Series in Human Rights Education, to highlight a framework for addressing and teaching about international and local issues that affect all of us in a multicultural school environment.
