Immigrant Artist Speakers Bureau Training

Intermedia Arts, in partnership with Minnesota Advocates for Human Rights, is creating the Moving Lives Speakers Bureau to foster dialogues about human rights and immigration issues in Twin Cities communities through the artwork and stories of immigrant artists, dancers, musicians and media makers.  Our goals are two-fold: 1) to share stories, experiences, and expertise of immigrants in Minnesota with other communities in order to build understanding and a greater sense of inter-cultural connectedness, and 2) to increase understanding of the history and context of human rights by using art to explore human rights themes.  Click here for more information.
