Anna Donnelly is a Program Assistant in the Education Program at the Advocates for Human Rights through AmeriCorps VISTA. Ms. Donnelly received a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in Global Studies and Spanish from the University of Minnesota, with a focus on Latin America and human rights. In 2008, Ms. Donnelly worked with the Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo – Founding Line in Argentina studying collective memory and the Mothers’ transformation of pain into action. As an Upper Midwest Human Rights Fellow, Ms. Donnelly worked with the Genocide Intervention Network- Minnesota to develop educational materials, advocate for anti-genocide legislation, and build the anti-genocide movement.
