Death Penalty on Hold in Delaware

Robert W. Jackson III filed a lawsuit raising constitutional questions about the state of Delaware's lethal injection execution procedure. Chief District Judge Robinson called on the state to respond to Jackson's claims. Until the constitutionality of the procedure is determined, it is unlikely that any other executions will be carried out.
