The Advocates office is open Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. 

Driving Directions:

From Northwest -
Take 94 east to exit 230 (4th St. N.). Follow 4th St. N.; it will become 4th St. S. Turn right onto 3rd Ave. S. The Park Building will be on the right side of the street.

From Northeast -
These directions were amended on 8/3/07 to account for the closure of 35W between Stinson and 94E Take 35W North. Merge onto 280 S. Merge onto 94W. Take 94 west to the 5th St. exit (stay in the farthest left lane). Turn left onto 11th Ave. Turn right onto 7th St. Turn right onto 3rd Ave. S. The Park Building is on the left side of the street.

From South -
Take 35W North. Merge onto MN-65 North toward Downtown (this is a left exit). Take the 5th Ave. S. exit (left exit). Turn left onto 5th Ave. S. Turn left onto 7th St. S. Turn right onto 3rd Ave. S. The Park Building will be on the left side of the street.

From West -
Take 394 east to exit 9B (6th St. N). Stay straight to go to 6th St. N. Turn right onto 3rd Ave. S. The Park Building will be on the right side of the street.

From East -
Take 94 west to the 5th St. exit (stay in the farthest left lane). Turn left onto 11th Ave. Turn right onto 7th St. Turn right onto 3rd Ave. S. The Park Building is on the left side of the street.

Walking Directions:

From Nicollet Mall -
Go South on 6th St. S. Turn right onto 3rd Ave. S. The Park Building is on the right side of the street.

From the Target Center -
Go South on either 6th St. S. or 7th St. S. Turn right (or left if on 7th St) onto 3rd Ave. S. The Park Building is on the right side (or left if coming from 7th St) of the street.

From the Metrodome -
Take Chicago Ave. S. to 6th Street S. Go north (turn right) on 6th St. S. Turn left onto 3rd Ave. S. The Park Building is on the right side of the street.

From the Minneapolis Convention Center -
Take 3rd Ave. S. north (away from the Convention Center). Go about 6 blocks. The Park Building will be on the left side of the street.

Directions within the Park Building:

From the corner entrance (6th St. & 3rd Ave. S) -
Go up the stairs to the left of the entrance. Go straight to the curved path and follow it to the left. The elevators will be on the right side. Take the second set of elevators. The Advocates is on the 12th floor.

From 650 3rd Ave. S entrance -
Go up the escalators. Turn right, the elevators will be on the left side. Take the first set of elevators. The Advocates is on the 12th floor.

Places to park:

There are many public parking ramps close to the Park Building; 7th St. between Marquette and 2nd Ave. ($6 for the first hour)., 6th St. & 2nd Ave. ($6 for the first hour), 3rd Ave between 5th and 6th St ($5 for the first hour), 5th St. S & 5th Ave. S ($2 for the first hour) are a few.

On-street parking is also available. Most parking meters around the Park Building are $1 an hour. There are 75 cent parking meters on 8th St. between 4th and 5th Ave S, and 6th St between Park Ave. & Portland Ave. There are no parking meters on 3rd Ave. S.
