Minnesota Advocates for Human Rights and the Fredrikson & Byron law firm are pleased to present a monthly lunchtime lecture series on human rights in the post-9/11 world. Held on the third Thursday of every other month, the speaker series examines how national security policies are affecting human rights at the international, national and state level. Past speakers have discussed the detention of "enemy combatants" at Guantanamo Bay, U.S. foreign policy post-9/11, and immigration law changes.
All lectures are free and open to the public with a complimentary lunch provided to those who have pre-registered.
