Since 1992, The Advocates for Human Rights has worked with hundreds of teachers to educate thousands of K-12 students to introduce and engage them in human rights issues.
The Advocates’ Rights Sites Project partners with schools to provide training and support to administrators, teachers, students and parents on the implementation of human rights teaching into the school curriculum. We introduce international human rights principles to students to help them understand and appreciate common human values, encourage them to apply international standards to their own lives, and support their efforts to confront human rights violations in their own communities.
