Montana Lawsuit Challenging Lethal Injection

The American Civil Liberties Union, the Montana Association of Criminal Defense Attorney and the Montana Catholic Conference have filed a lawsuit asking the Montana Supreme Court to suspend executions until a judicial review of lethal injection on whether it is humane takes place. The groups point to mounting evidence that lethal injection is very painful.
