Volunteer for The Advocates
The success of The Advocates lies in our members, interns, and volunteers. It is through the volunteer efforts of people like you that we are able to make a difference on so many issues affecting the human rights of people around the world and right here in our community. We welcome your involvement.

There are several ongoing volunteer opportunities at The Advocates:

Volunteer Attorneys - Represent an asylum seeker

Volunteer Translators - Translate and interpret for asylum seekers

Volunteer Doctors, Psychiatrists and Psychologists - Evaluate asylum seekers mental and physical health for their asylum claim

Volunteer for International Women's Day

Volunteer Researcher - Stop Violence Against Women

Volunteer Researcher - Human Rights Education

Volunteer Graphic Designers

You can find out about more volunteer opportunities by joining one or more of our volunteer list-serves. We send out email notices when new volunteer opportunities become available. Join the general Volunteer Opportunites list-serve to learn more about what you can do to promote and protect human rights. Join the Women's Program list-serve to receive up to date information about local, national and international human rights issues affecting women.
