Women's Human Rights Program Internships

The Women's Human Rights Program welcomes undergraduate, graduate and law school students to assist with research, event planning and program administration.  Past and current interns have researched women's human rights issues for use in our website, helped plan events such as International Women's Day and house party fundraisers and assisted with administration of projects working to support women's human rights.

Desired qualifications/experience/interests:

  • Strong organizational and writing skills  
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Sensitivity to diverse cultures
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency in a second language a plus

 

Time commitment:

 

For fall and spring internship: 8-15 hours per week for a total of 3-4 months

For summer internship: 20-40 hours per week for a total of 8-10 weeks

For a fellowship or special project: varies

      Minimum of 160 total hours required for most internship positions
