Our Organization Minnesota Advocates for Human Rights is a volunteer-based, non-governmental, non-profit, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the promotion and protection of internationally recognized human rights. Our Mission Minnesota Advocates for Human Rights is committed to enabling individuals and communities to realize their fundamental human rights and responsibilities through programs and projects that integrate human rights factfinding, advocacy, and education. Our Work Minnesota Advocates for Human Rights works locally, nationally, and internationally on human rights issues impacting children, women, refugees & immigrants, and marginalized populations. Minnesota Advocates documents human rights abuses, advocates on behalf of individual victims, educates on human rights issues, and provides training and technical assistance to address and prevent human rights violations. Our Principles Minnesota Advocates for Human Rights takes an integrated, comprehensive approach to addressing human rights abuses through factfinding, advocacy, and education. Minnesota Advocates works through partnerships with human rights activists worldwide, and in collaboration with academics, business and legal professionals, media, and policymakers. Minnesota Advocates relies in particular on the support and activism of our members and volunteers.
