Location: Twin Cities Metro Salary: Unpaid Type: Internship Deadline: Open until filled Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Working with the Development and Communications team, the Special Events Intern will assist with the planning, organization, and implementation of the Human Rights Awards Dinner – The Advocates for Human Rights' largest annual fundraiser. The intern will be responsible for the solicitation of silent/live auction items, support in the development and distribution of event materials, as well as assisting on event day to make sure the event runs smoothly. The intern may also assist the Development team with other various fundraising activities, including assisting with mailings and fundraising events, helping at house parties, and other duties as assigned.
