Project: Human rights education
Description: The Advocates' Human Rights Education Program seeks an individual with at least an undergraduate degree to aid in development of a training manual and program entitled, A Rights-Based Approach to Social Justice Work. The program will help civil society organizations in the United States to incorporate international human rights standards into their internal organizational processes and external advocacy.
Duties may include: - researching resources for the manual; - conducting interviews with case study organizations; - scheduling and coordinating pilot trainings and possible co-facilitation; and - revising the training and manual in response to evaluations from the pilot trainings.
